Dog Training Group Classes

Group Classes are the most economical form of GSD training. Our 8-week classes are held in Arcadia at Arcadia County Park California and Santa Clarita California. These class is a great beginner class for puppies and dogs who either have not attended classes before or need a brush-up on basic skills. This is an on-leash only class, and dogs are taught the following verbal commands:

Sit-stay
Stand-stay
Heel on leash
Come
Down-stay

They will also learn the hand signals for Sit, Down, Come, No and Okay. These classes do require practice and time on the part of the owner. As such, the owner is responsible for the final outcome of the course.

Private, In-home Lessons

This is a six-week program of one-hour sessions at your home. J.R. or his staff will work with both the dog and the owner one-on-one. During each session, J.R. or his staff will work with your dog for the first 1/2 hour, while you observe. In the second 1/2 hour, you will with your dog as you master new commands. Dogs will learn the commands and behaviors listed above.

In-kennel Training

This has become our most popular training program. Your dog will board with us for four - six weeks, and will receive private, one-on-one instruction during his stay. The dog will learn the above commands and behaviors, and this program comes with a lifetime guarantee. (some restrictions do apply and may void the lifetime guarantee)

Behavior Modification

All dogs will be better family members with the basics of obedience training “under their collar”, so to speak. However, some dogs have specific behavior issues that need to be addressed. Our private and in-kennel training programs can be personalized to meet the needs of your and your dog.
